Important Information

Planning & Approvals

If your Quarters is installed on rural or farming land and used for staff accommodation, you may wish to speak with your accountant about whether GST credits may apply to your situation. We also recommend confirming any planning or council requirements with your local authority before installation.

Site Preparation

Site preparation prior to delivery is the responsibility of the client or their appointed builder. This may include the following works:

• Sewer connection
• Power connection
• Water connection
• Gas connection (if required)
• Installation of footings
• General site works and access preparation

We will provide guidance on the requirements for the above, including information for off-grid installations where applicable.

Freight to your property is the client’s responsibility, however we are happy to assist in coordinating transport and providing freight quotations.

Compliance & Documentation

Upon completion of your Quarters module, we provide a comprehensive compliance documentation folder containing certificates and relevant construction information for your records.

Compliance documentation provided includes:

• Engineering certification for structural components
• Certificates of compliance from licensed trades including electrical, plumbing, glazing and insulation installation
• Standard energy rating documentation
• Standard BAL (Bushfire Attack Level) documentation
• Standard engineered footing design

Please note that site-specific energy ratings, BAL assessments or engineered footing designs may be required depending on location and are arranged separately by the client or their builder.
